The Company "Euromedica S.A.", in accordance with article 2 of Decision 5/204/2000 of the Ε.Κ. and article 6 par. 1d of Law 3340/2005, announces the following in response to recent articles in the electronic and printed press:
The President of the Strategic Planning Committee, Mr Thomas Liakounakos, met recently with the management of the company IASO S.A. as well as doctor shareholders. During these meetings alternative methods of operational and shareholding collaboration between the two companies were explored and views were exchanged.
Mr Thomas Liakounakos also commented at length on the operational and geographical complementariness that the two companies present as well as the significant synergies for shareholders, employees and patients/guests of the integrated network of medical units of the two companies, in the event of complete integration. No specific decisions were taken during this meeting.
The Company will inform the investing public and relevant authorities if specific decisions on the above matters are taken.
The Company points out that it is already the largest shareholder in IASO S.A., with a share percentage of over 10%.
