Further to its announcement of 14.6.2007, MARFIN POPULAR BANK PUBLIC CO LTD announces that, the legally required approvals having been obtained from the competent authorities in Cyprus and Esthonia, on 28.9.2007 the acquisition was completed of 50,12% of the share capital of the Esthonian "ΑS SBM PANK".
